Allowing hands-on creative control…

The sound and lighting system at the John Fulton Hall at the Eastbourne Campus of The University of Brighton was very old; it was apparent that the equipment was coming to the end of its life. Initially it was proposed to mix and match the old system with new equipment – Opus resolved that issue.

Delivering real value to the school…

St Anne’s is a Church of England VA Primary School just outside Weston-Super-Mare. New homes in the area have dramatically increased the demand for school places and in March 2014 the school set about meeting the demand by building a second site 3 miles away, to run in parallel with the existing school.

St Nicholas Chantry is a rapidly expanding Primary School that needed a new audio-visual system – OpusStudio was the product of choice.

The college has had other lighting systems in the past but needed something more up-to-date. Modern features, such as LED lighting which did not get too hot and detract from the working environment, were essential.

Enabling multi-purpose use…

As part of the recent transformation of the school to Academy status, a pot of money was available to update the theatre (built in the 1950s) and equip it with much needed lighting and sound equipment – Opus provided the system to achieve this.

Drama was a completely new subject for King’s Rochester and OpusSystem became a key element of the school’s investment in a new state-of-the-art drama studio.

Enhancing work… inspiring talent

Castell Alun High School had an antiquated sound and lighting system dating back to the original fixtures and fittings of the 1960s school buildings, so the school made it a priority to secure funds to buy the OpusSystem. In the first instance, the school was particularly interested in using it for the three major annual productions.
